How often do you come to the gym?
5 days a week. I work right next door to Balance Gym and CrossFit is one of the (if not the BIGGEST) factors that drive me to come to work regularly.
What kinds of workouts were you doing before CrossFit?
Basic random stuff in gyms. Nothing serious!!
Why did you decide to try CrossFit?
To be frank, it was a Groupon that instigated my motivation but from there I got addicted!!!
What do you like most about CrossFit?
The discipline CrossFit brought in my lifestyle. It’s a Perfect way to relax and a healthy break from hectic schedule.
Why should other people try CrossFit?
CrossFit requires hard work and hard work is uncomfortable. One of the greatest elements of CrossFit is the mental toughness that it creates and carries into all aspects of life.
What advice do you have for people who are new to CrossFit, or to working out in general?
Don’t worry about what you hear or read online about CrossFit. Just come join us, experience it and enjoy it.
What do you like most about working out at Balance?
Coaches and the fraternity - everyone’s is just amazing. Competitive and at the same time motivating.
How has Balance helped you achieve your goals?
CrossFit helped me realize one thing; it’s all about mental toughness. Control the mind; it will in turn help you control everything it controls.
How do you fit working out into your busy schedule?
I think once you start loving it, CrossFit becomes more of a habit than an activity, just like brushing your teeth or bathing. No matter how busy you are, you got to do that stuff.
